As human beings, we are designed to make connection with others. Our relationships can provide us with happiness, security, good mental and physical health and a sense of belonging. When relationships hit the rocks and communication becomes difficult, if not impossible, it can feel like being cast out onto a stormy, desolate sea.
Relationship counselling can help to couples, friends and family members to look at their relationships in a focused way and determine how they can be improved. As a counsellor, I will provide a safe, secure, confidential space in which to look at the issues in a relationship: what is working? what isn’t working? what course of action would be best for both parties?
